The location at Queens West is really ideal for visiting Toronto, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the hotel itself offers decent food even though the focus is on musical performances, which were truly great—especially on Tuesdays when young students take turns playing, it’s an experience. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel exudes jazz. The room and bathroom were small but clean and adequate. Breakfast consists of coffee or tea with toast and jam or peanut butter, but you can also order a breakfast from the menu. The room was on Queen Street and can be quite noisy if you sleep with the window open; the room and bathroom are very small, so don’t expect luxury.

“Basic but well located”

The spot was solid, but the place itself feels pretty plain; the staff were genuinely welcoming. The free breakfast coffee and juice, plus peanut butter and jam, were quite basic and only available from 9:30 am, which isn’t convenient.

“No bathroom or elevator, I’ll never go back.”

The jazz bar was good, but the food was great! 😃 However, the hallway bathrooms really suck, with only one shared shower per floor.
