The location of the property was gorgeous, surrounded by vineyards with a view of the Castello di Spesso. The rooms had a well‑working air‑conditioner. Breakfast was taken inside the castle.

Breakfast was excellent. The location was exceptionally beautiful. We stayed in a side building with a roof terrace and a stunning view of the castle all the way to the Jura Alps. Absolutely quiet setting. It would have been nice to know at booking that pool and spa use cost extra (€35 for the pool). This should definitely be stated. There were no toilets near the breakfast area, and no indication of that either. We had to ask staff.

The Casale in Collina sits beautifully with a great view of the vineyards and the castle. Our room was cozy, the bed comfortable and the lighting thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was good, but we found the extra 5 € for a fried egg a bit petty, especially since we ate with guests from the 5‑star hotel. The air‑conditioner broke down on the first night, but was quickly repaired; it works again but feels somewhat outdated overall. The biggest complaint concerns the pool: the Booking description does not make it clear that it is about 900 m away and costs an additional 25 € per person per day. That should be communicated more transparently. The price applies only to the outdoor pool; spa use costs extra. There are also limited opening hours, on one day the pool only opened at 14:30. After paying we also had to wait for the cushions for the loungers, making the area feel uninviting. We were also disappointed that the beautiful roof terrace of our house could hardly be used, as there are only a few blandly arranged metal chairs. Moreover, there is no bar or a cozy lounge for the evening. When the Osteria is closed, the daytime options are practically limited to the upscale restaurant. Bottom line: a very nice property in a great location with good breakfast and a lot of charm. Those coming for golf will probably enjoy it. Those who want a few relaxed days with pool and other activities outside the room should know the extra costs and limited infrastructure beforehand.

Great location and stunning view. Having water bottles available for guests was a very appreciated touch. The bathroom and room cleanliness could be improved.
