The surroundings were quiet and the bathroom was very nice. The beds were functional but not especially comfortable.

“Schön wars”

The host was very friendly. I would occasionally peek into the lovingly prepared breakfast to refill what might be missing. The room was modern and cozy, perfectly adequate for two people. The location was quiet. The only issue was that other guests apparently couldn’t control their barking dog, so we were woken unpleasantly in the morning. However, the delicious breakfast with homemade jam made everything right again.

We got extra loaves of bread, which was a nice touch, and it was great to meet the housewife who runs the place; she also sells soap with lanolin that we bought. The location was close to Weltvogelpark Walsrode, where we stayed for two days and saw a lot of beautiful sights. The only downside was the TV reception, which was poor.

On my way back from Denmark, I stopped here with my little Havaneser. The landlord was very friendly and I could easily add a breakfast for the next morning on short notice. The old house was lovingly restored and furnished. A free parking spot right next to the house was convenient. There was plenty of space for my Havaneser’s dog bed, and even a bowl and towel were provided for him—a very nice gesture. I really liked the location.
