Hotel National - Grant Road

I tried to cancel my booking because the hotel was extremely dirty, with lots of dust, cockroaches, mold on the bed sheet and pillow, so we left and are requesting a refund.

Nothing positive; it was the worst place to stay with family, the bed had bugs and cockroaches were present all night.

“Staff was very good”

Breakfast was good, though I prefer toast with butter and jam; next time please include toast, butter, and jam.

“Ok pero no tan barato para el nivel de suciedad”

I liked that the hotel is just a few minutes on foot from the metro station, which makes it easy to reach the airport or the southern part of Mumbai. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Still, the friendliness didn’t erase the mess: I felt I was assigned a room that had been vacated without cleaning—disgusting sheets, a filthy bathroom, sticky and dirty floor, and a balcony door that wouldn’t close, giving the uneasy feeling that something could fall out each time you left. All in all, if you’re particular about cleanliness and want a good time in this wonderful city, this place isn’t for you.

“A good stay despite the fact issue mentioned above as well as the surrounding which is dirty. But inside hotel is ok.”

The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was problematic: the shower was positioned in the middle of the washroom with the toilet fixed to the wall, so when you bathe the entire floor gets wet and only dries after four to five hours. I respectfully ask management to address this issue.
