The spot was great and I could lock my bike safely. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The on‑site restaurant was closed, but there was a big fridge where you could buy drinks.

Nestled right in the vineyard, the setting was lovely. Unfortunately the hotel’s restaurant was shut down, so guests had to drive out for dinner.

The view was amazing and the peace was perfect, but the breakfast was thin for the price. We expected at least a tablecloth. The bathroom smelled strong from the drain, and the suite felt bare and unlovely, with a tiny TV that had no Austrian channels. The “suite” label was misleading – it was just a double room with separate living and sleeping areas.

The room was bigger than usual, which was a nice surprise.

The location is beautiful and the pet room is spacious, close to Lake Maltschacher. We booked a pet-friendly stay, but just before arrival we were told a paid upgrade was needed. The fee was waived, yet we still had to pay €25/night for the dog because of a special cleaning that never happened. The place can’t be called truly pet‑friendly. Room service could use a boost – trash emptied, floors swept. A fridge/minibar for dog food would help.
