The location in the heart of the forest and the hearty breakfast.

It was very cozy, the host family was lovely, the breakfast was well presented, and everything was very clean and comfortable.

Sarah’s house is incredibly located right in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, and the setting is gorgeous. The hosts thought of small touches like board games, a microwave, and a kettle with tea and coffee available. Breakfast, included in the room price, is a real bonus for a gentle wake‑up. The hosts are smiling, interesting, truly welcoming, and pleasant. The floor coverings are a bit dated, which is acceptable, but the bed was really uncomfortable—the mattress was all deformed and we slept badly.

The location, the contact with the owners, and the value for money are great. Nothing else for a single night; a small fridge would be nice and more toiletry products.
