Hotel Park Elanza Chennai

Unfortunately, there were very few positive points to mention. The establishment does not match the comfort and quality expected of a 4‑star hotel. The experience was particularly disappointing. The building is old, poorly maintained, and clearly dirty. From the moment I arrived, I saw marks on the headboard, residue on the furniture, and hair and fur in the bathroom. The seams were also badly kept. The balcony was unclean, the gym lacked hygiene, the terrace was under construction, and the pool water was cloudy. For a 4‑star property, these conditions are hardly acceptable. The value for money is absolutely not justified. Feeling uncomfortable in that environment, I chose to leave the hotel before my stay ended. A very disappointing experience that I do not recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — Park Elanza, Chennai I had a very good stay at Park Elanza in Nungambakkam, Chennai. It is a well-maintained property with clean, comfortable rooms, courteous staff and good dining and leisure facilities. The rooms were neat and hygienic, with clean sheets, fresh towels, hot water and adequate toiletries. My only minor concerns were the lack of bathroom slippers and the basic quality of the toiletries. Standard rooms are slightly compact but practical for short stays, while the larger suites offer more space, bigger bathrooms, separate sitting areas and a jacuzzi. One of the highlights is La Cabana, the attractive rooftop restaurant with seating around waterways and an infinity-style pool. The pool is relatively small, but the rooftop setting and city views are enjoyable, especially around sunrise and sunset. Other facilities include a buffet restaurant, The Lower Deck pub and club, a gym and an on-site spa/massage facility. I did not use the spa, but it is a welcome premium amenity. The gym is modestly equipped but sufficient for a basic workout. Service was excellent throughout my stay. Staff were polite, responsive and helpful, and requests such as water bottles were handled promptly. Welcome drinks and concierge assistance were also appreciated. Airport transfers are available for an additional charge. The location is convenient for visitors attending US visa appointments, with the US Consulate and biometrics centre relatively nearby. Overall, Park Elanza offers a comfortable stay, good hospitality, attractive rooftop dining and useful facilities at a reasonable price. I would recommend it for short visits to Chennai. Rating: 4/5

To the Management Team: I stayed at your property recently and most aspects were excellent. Service and facilities matched my expectations. But I am disappointed with the WiFi; the connection was extremely weak and unstable, so I couldn't download essential work documents. It was embarrassing and disruptive. Because of the unreliable internet, I don't feel comfortable booking again. I hope you fix this soon.
