“Amazing stay in a beautiful and very cozy Ryokan”

Beautiful Ryokan, very cozy and well-located in the old borough. Walking around at night is magical. The room was gorgeous and the food is excelllent. The staff was extremly kind and helpful and they speak some English which makes things easier. Before sleeping they left us some food as desert which was a nice gesture. I would strongly recommend it and I’d love to come back. It’s great both for a couple and a family. We were also lucky because we were alone and we didn’t have to share the bathroom with anyone. Thanks for everything!!!!. They only offer the breakfast. It would be fantastic if they also offer the dinner

“Buono ma non eccezionale”

I appreciated the receptionist’s friendliness, politeness, and willingness to help, even in English. He suggested a great, affordable dinner spot with good quality. Every evening he brought a small snack of fruit and sweets. The Ryokan’s location was PERFECT, letting us explore the area in the morning before it got busy. The room lacked a private shower and shared it with other rooms—a detail I hadn’t read but it did surprise us a bit. We arrived with two large suitcases and the street wasn’t the most convenient, but the receptionist helped us both upon arrival and departure. Finally, the price was high for a three‑star hotel, but acceptable given the central location; I didn’t see the “fabulous” comments left on Booking.

“Amazing ryokan”

This Ryokan is simply fantastic! The location is ideal for visiting Kyoto’s old district, tucked away in a quiet corner even though it’s close to bustling tourist spots. The house and rooms are gorgeous, surrounded by lush gardens. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. It’s amazing!!
