We could upgrade and stay in a bungalow instead of a caravan spot, and there was a lot of wind. We got a 25 % discount on the two bungalows. Dinner was fantastic (the best meal of the trip) and we loved chatting with the farm manager. She’s an amazing person who gave us plenty of tips for our road trip. I recommend it 200 %! The personalized welcome was better than at other more impersonal lodges. Everything was perfect.
It was fine – just one night in a tent to keep the mileage low, perfect for a single‑night stopover.

Everything! A beautiful lodge and campsite with wonderful, dedicated and passionate staff. They grew up here and you can truly feel how much they love this place. It makes a huge difference. We had a technical problem with our rooftop tent and they went above and beyond to help us. We can’t thank them enough for the kindness and care they showed us. An unforgettable stay!
Great campsite, shared bathrooms but very clean with many showers and toilets. The pitches are fenced and there’s a barbecue area.

Breakfast was good but too pricey; the toilets were too far from the campsite. The toilets should be closer to the campsite.
