The property is beautiful, overlooking a lovely village pub with a co‑op right next to it. I received a warm welcome and the room was very comfortable. The only downside was the lack of on‑site parking; you must park at the co‑op or slightly outside the village, which is strictly pedestrianised.

The staff were absolutely lovely, and everything else was great. The only hiccup was that my room was right next to the kitchen, so when I tried to nap during the day it was a bit too loud, but I managed.

I had been here before, but this time the room was so small it felt claustrophobic, and I asked for a change, yet no other rooms were available. We were next to the kitchen and the noise was very loud. A fellow guest had a dirty sock on the floor—yuck. There was nowhere to hang our clothes, so we won’t be returning. A/A
