Nice place, but there was a damp smell coming from the bathroom.
“Dejligt sted til enkelt overnatning”
The place sits just a stone's throw from the beach and the inn, and there's parking right outside. It worked well for a one‑night get‑away with my friends on a walking tour. The downside was that the kitchen, lounge and bathroom are shared among several rooms.
The surroundings were lovely, the beds were fine, and the hosts were very sweet. Overall it felt a bit worn and in need of an update – the pillows were thin and the doors creaked.
There was no staff at all. It was very odd that we had to go through a room full of noise and foosball when we wanted to use the bathroom and toilet. The bathroom seemed to be shared with all the other rooms, and it wasn’t cleaned properly.
“Výborná lokalita, krásný areál resortu, průměrné služby”
Ribe Byferie Resort is a very pleasant and beautifully arranged spot in a great location, just a short walk from Ribe's historic centre. The accommodation in the small row houses has a cozy vibe; our ground‑floor apartment was comfortable and the surroundings were great for a dog‑friendly stay and strolls. Overall we felt very good here. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Both days it was identical – bread, yogurt, juice and individually packaged portions of cheese, butter and jam. We expected more variety and at least some local Danish products. We were also surprised by the amount of single‑use plastic packaging, especially at a resort that stresses ecology and asks guests to sort waste carefully. An unusual extra charge for linen also caught us off guard. We were also taken aback by the departure instructions – take out and sort waste, run the dishwasher, and return furniture to its original spot, especially when a service fee is charged.
