“Come a casa”
We arrived very late because the flight was delayed, and the host waited for us without any problem, very kind and helpful. The room was spacious, the bathroom clean and fully equipped. The homemade breakfast was well prepared, varied, and plentiful. For a family‑run place, we really felt at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moate Lodge. The beautiful old stone house has incredible charm and was lovingly furnished in a historic style. If you’re looking for a modern hotel, this might not be the right fit – but if you love cozy, authentic houses with history, you’ll feel right at home. Raymond and Mary are exceptionally warm hosts. We were greeted very warmly and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, cozy, and in keeping with the house’s style. The breakfast was very tasty and a great start to the day. We would come back anytime and recommend Moate Lodge without reservation.

The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Ireland, and the travel tips were much appreciated. The garden was beautiful, and it was lovely to stroll around and relax. We discovered that great accommodation and your hosts are a huge part of the overall travel experience.
