Everything is provided, a small kitchen and laundry facilities. It’s fairly clean and not far from the city center, with good communication. The room window won’t open, so there’s no daylight or ventilation except through the front door. It’s clean overall but not everywhere (one towel was dirty, the dishes weren’t very clean). The bathroom/shower area isn’t properly separated— the door doesn’t close well and it isn’t fully closed at the top.

Khaled, the owner, is extremely helpful and friendly, speaks good English, replies right away, and knows the area well— a lovely guy. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and had no issues.

I stayed in Tataouine and Khaled was an outstanding host—kind, attentive, and eager to ensure we enjoyed the place. He offered local tips and arranged taxis for us. The property sits outside the town center, so nighttime noise is minimal, and it’s close to the local louage station for trips to nearby ksars. The kitchen is fully equipped, and Khaled even left water and juices for me, plus warm blankets. Thanks for the hospitality, Khaled!
