The location was beautiful and the old building lovely, offering very good value, though the food and meal service could have been better.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the garden offered a view of the Mulanje Mountains with waterfalls, and the rooms were very clean and beautiful. However, the food was limited in quantity and quite simple; you were charged extra for every small item, even for still water in the room.

I loved the location - it's absolutely beautiful. However, we had a bit of a struggle with the water supply, it was pretty limited.

We had a really great experience here - the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were super nice. They even brought us snacks and coffee/tea after dinner, which was a lovely touch. The beds had mosquito nets and the hot water in the shower was a bonus. The food was also really good, we asked for some recommendations on things to do around Mulanje mountain and it was really helpful. That being said, we did have some issues with insects and frogs in the room, which wasn't ideal.
