I drove past the hotel on the highway heading to Sydney and saw it. The bathroom was shared and located in a pub on the second floor. In my room, directly beneath the bed, the air‑conditioner unit on the floor below kept making a noise every time it switched on and off.

The service and location were great, and the amenities matched what you'd expect from a pub‑style accommodation. I slept pretty normally, but the new bamboo pillows, though initially good, absorbed a lot of moisture after a couple of months and felt like sleeping on a brick; maybe just grab the cheap light fluffy pillows from Target.

The staff and location. The rooms had a jug and coffee but no sink or water in the room No service for clean towels or linen for our 4 night stay The aircon was very minimal The shared bathrooms and toilets were very unhygienic Ran out of toilet paper most days The common room had a small fridge for all guests to share, so we couldnt fit food in there
