The spot was decent—Sliema’s main area and the bus stop were within walking distance. The room itself was tidy, and the espresso machine was a nice touch. I felt safe thanks to the solid locks and codes, and the girl I chatted with on WhatsApp was friendly. However, the towel situation was a nightmare; unlike other places where towels last the whole stay, these were rough, damp, and smelled awful, forcing us to change them every day. The room had an odd odor when we first entered, and we couldn’t open the windows because the AC wouldn’t work with them open. Cleaning was confusing: I asked for a clean on the second day, they said it wasn’t available and would charge extra—odd for a five‑night stay—so I declined, only to have the room cleaned the next day at no cost, which I didn’t understand.
