“Central spot, but walls are thin”
The hotel’s central location made it easy to get around, which was a big plus. On the downside, the walls were pretty thin and we could hear other guests drinking heavily. Thankfully we had our own bathroom, so we avoided the shared facilities altogether.
“Clean rooms, but bathroom sharing was a surprise”
The rooms were spotless and the staff behaved like true professionals. What annoyed me was that we didn’t get a private bathroom for the two rooms we booked; instead we had to share it with other guests, something that hadn’t been explained beforehand.
“Nice view, but night arrival is blind”
The view from our room was great, and the kitchen/dining area was spacious, tidy, and stocked with basic cooking gear. Getting to the hotel at night was tricky, though—there’s no lighting on the approach, so the first time we arrived it was completely dark.
“Budget‑friendly but needs a facelift”
For a low‑key group looking for cheap lodging in Davos, this place hits the mark – the price is right and the big lounge with a tiny kitchen lets you cook simple meals, plus they leave out free snacks and drinks. The rooms and bathrooms, however, look worn out and could really use a renovation, and the so‑called communal bathrooms are essentially single‑person stalls.
“Clean but missing a mirror”
The accommodation was clean when we arrived, but the room lacked a mirror, which turned out to be a bit inconvenient.
