“Perfect place to stay to avoid crowds and has everything you’ll need.”

The apartment was well equipped with a washing machine, a capsule coffee machine, a stove, an oven, etc. It’s a 2‑minute walk to the port, but you need to walk at least 15 minutes to reach the great beaches, which wasn’t an issue for us. We got what we paid for. We could have checked in earlier and checked out a bit later. Cristina was super welcoming and helped us a lot (look for the Shark team excursion when in Porticello). They change towels when you need them and a cleaning lady comes every or almost every day. The Wi‑Fi was a bit poor and the balcony could use some shade so you could stay outside during the day, not just after sunset. Overall it was a very good experience for us.

The beach and restaurants are close by, the surroundings are calm, and the staff are friendly and we managed to arrange everything without any trouble. The owner fulfilled our wishes immediately, and on our request the next day she brought us a small table, two extra chairs, and some drying racks for laundry. Excellent. The refrigerator is tiny, the balcony is small and almost has no shade. At first there was no table where we could set our coffee or drinks. In the bathroom a safety barrier around the shower would have helped so the whole room doesn’t get wet after showering.

The staff are extremely helpful and ready for anything; when we had a small issue in the room we called Cristina and she acted right away to assist us, while Lorena, very sweet and kind, helped resolve it immediately. The people are very human and courteous. Nothing in particular to note.

The location is good, very close to the harbor, shops, cafés and restaurants, and the train station is 15 minutes away. The host was very friendly, the balcony offers a sea view, there’s air‑conditioning and a TV with many channels. Unfortunately there’s no cooking facility; there was a kettle and coffee, but no cups at first. We asked for cups and plates and received them later. There were two balconies, but no seating furniture—just a chair and no table—so we had to sit on the floor. There was no shower curtain, making it hard to shower without flooding the whole bathroom. The neighbors were nice, but a neighbor across the street played extremely loud music twice all morning, the water pump made an unbearable noise at times, and once there was a construction site in front of the door. There’s a free shuttle to the beaches, which is great, but it sometimes doesn’t show up and you end up waiting in vain.
