The yurt was rustic but had everything we needed, and it was a real hit with the kids — they thought it was the best thing ever! The location was fantastic for us and our dog, with plenty of outdoor space to roam. Felt peaceful, fun and totally different to a normal holiday. Highly. Would need air con as it gets very hot on a summer day; fans wouldn’t be enough to cool the yurt down.

It was unique, tucked in the countryside, roomy, and the self‑catering facilities were solid. I got cold quickly at night, yet the heating kicked in to make up for it.

I loved the entire experience; it was my first yurt stay and it worked well—no TV, no traffic nearby, and it felt very private and quiet.
