“No-frills”
It offers a roof under which you can lay your head. There is evidence it once had all the facilities of a happy and successful Brazilian backpacker hostel in the mid‑2010s. The staff are neat and have what it takes to make the most of limited resources. It’s a place you go to when you have nowhere else to go. A no‑frills package that might come with what could appear to be a cold shoulder. The hostel has seen better days. It needs a major revamp. There is a feeling of disappointment or a sense of giving up among the owners – that feeling you get when a business fails to meet its revenue projections. All the same, there is a lot of potential that can be actualized in there.
