The place feels almost private, with just a handful of rooms but a really nice setup. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen served solid meals at local‑average prices, and Ray’s breakfast—fresh breads and cakes baked on site—was a highlight. The pool overlooking the river, the kayak trips, and the calm clear‑water beach all made it easy to see why I’ll be back, and there was nothing that bothered me.

The inn oozes charm; every detail seemed thought through, from the comfy rooms with a stunning river view to the almost‑empty beach where we even spotted a manatee. Breakfast was the most varied I’ve had on this trip, and the on‑site restaurant served a shrimp moqueca that was simply divine. The staff—Íris, Rai, David, Jean—were unbelievably attentive, making us feel welcome at every turn.

The team was attentive and helpful, and the location at the tip of Japaratinga beach near the river mouth is ideal for a quiet getaway. Unfortunately, the details fell short: the restaurant and breakfast were disappointing, the door lock was sticky, and the shower barely gave enough water. Those small issues really hurt an otherwise good place. Still, the setting itself is worth considering if the management improves the basics.
