Hostal Pardo sits 350 m from Miami Platja Beach on the Costa Dorada, offering free Wi‑Fi and nearby free parking. Air‑conditioned rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, private bathrooms, tiled floors, wooden furniture, heating and street views. Guests enjoy a continental breakfast on the terrace, a bar, billiards room, luggage storage, and easy access to the A7 motorway, Bonmont Golf Club, Reus Airport and Port Aventura.

It’s a no‑frills hostel, but the rooms and especially the bathroom have been renovated. It’s well‑situated on Miami Platja’s main street with parking at the front door—great for a weekend. A plus is that it has a fridge. The downside is that there was no window, and instead of air‑conditioning there’s a noisy “penguin” that made it hard to sleep; we had to turn it off but then we woke up sweaty and overwhelmed.

There’s no air‑conditioning. A “penguin” cools the room but makes a lot of noise; if it’s on you can’t sleep because of the sound, if it’s off you can’t sleep because of the heat. There’s also no headboard on either side of the beds. Otherwise, I’ve never seen a room so clean and so tidy.
