The hotel is pet‑friendly and parking is easy. The rooms have a lot of character with brick ceilings, a fireplace, and the building and pool look nice. Walking the dogs around the property is convenient. Rooms are clean and functional. However, there was no security guard in the parking at night this time, even though one is usually present. Several stray dogs bark on the premises, but they never approached us or our pets, nor did they disturb us at night. The rooms could use a bit of a modern refresh.

Clean, excellent green areas, a very good restaurant, and great service. The TV could be improved by installing a larger one that connects easily to the internet; cable TV is no longer necessary in a hotel, so investing in newer, larger equipment would be better for viewing from the bed.

Our group of 14 stayed in six rooms, so I’m speaking for myself and the others: the hotel was very clean, the gardens beautiful, the rooms spacious, the breakfast restaurant offered an excellent menu, and the pool was spotless, with staff providing great service. One room still used a noisy window‑type air conditioner; swapping it for a minisplit like the others would be advisable.
