“Heerlijk tot rust te gekomen”

The location feels calm, surrounded by a very large garden with plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas, and the garden opens onto a beach where you can swim in the sea. You do need a car, but then all sights are within reach. However, the rules feel restrictive and nobody speaks even a little English; the room rules are only in Italian. Leda tried her best, and with a translation app we managed to get by.

The owner was very helpful, but the place was scorching and the air‑con didn’t cool the room properly. There’s nothing to do, and the beachfront is narrow and very public, not like it was advertised.

A huge, beautiful garden with absolute quiet and a nice little beach access, though it’s not private and many Italians from nearby holiday villages are there too. The building looks good and everything is well maintained. There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas, and the bathroom comes with great toiletries. About a 3‑minute drive there’s a bakery with tasty focaccia. We didn’t try the breakfast that can be arranged with prior notice. The air‑conditioning was weak; the room never got cool even when the outside temperature hit 34 °C, making the nights uncomfortable. There’s no coffee machine and guests can’t use their own. The owner explained the house rules at check‑in, which aren’t available on Booking. They forbid bringing or eating any food in the room (except water, which she recommends buying from her). We thought that was a bit excessive, especially since there’s nothing to eat in the accommodation during the day. Towels are only changed every three days, which feels low for a beach holiday.

An extraordinary place.elegance, good taste, cleanliness. The sea is just a stone's throw away.with your own beach between generous date palms. The host.is top notch. Restaurants are a five-minute walk away by the sea. Definitely an oasis of beauty where you can only wish to return
