The location and free cable car are great, but the facilities are basic.

The hotel had a few issues that made the stay less pleasant. At 6 a.m. the corridors were full of noise—shouting, people knocking on doors, and the whole place felt a bit chaotic. The shower was missing a proper head, so water just ran everywhere on the floor, and you had to be careful to keep the curtain tight against the wall. Breakfast was light and the selection was limited, but otherwise there wasn’t much else to note.

Breakfast was a simple self‑service spread, and the staff were very friendly. The real snag was the bathroom: there was no way to set the shower temperature and the timer on the button was too short, so you had to rush through your shower.

The front‑desk team were really great, and the location made it easy to hop onto the lifts to Verbier. Breakfast was straightforward but tasty and plenty. The only downside was that it could get a bit noisy—probably the insulation isn’t the best.

The only real annoyance was when you left the window open in summer. The noise from cars, people, the train station, and the gondola made the room feel loud.
