Everything was exceptional: the establishment itself, its location, the number of onsens, the staff, the meals, the room, the view, the shuttle service, and easy access to the village—though I had to leave!

Everything was wonderful, we really enjoyed ourselves, the private onsen system was great, the meals were beautiful and delicious, and there was so much…

We slept in a room that was super comfy, and the whole Ryokan looked gorgeous, down to the tiniest detail. Service was flawless. The onsens were incredible and not crowded, so we could unwind peacefully. Breakfast and dinner were also great and offered a unique experience that I’d recommend to everyone. The little town was charming and full of things to explore. I’ll definitely return—it was the highlight of our Japan trip.

The spot in Kurokawa is great, just a short walk to the onsen, and the parking is convenient and roomy compared to other places; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the private baths were a bonus, though the place felt a bit dated, matching the town’s vibe.
