The place was super quiet and the surroundings were lovely. The terrace offered views of nature and there were little monkeys around. The location was great, the bed was huge and comfy, and there was a tiny kitchen. The bathroom was good.

Nice, cheap rooms in a quiet spot but just a stone’s throw from the beaches and the main road. The owners were very kind and helped me book a whale‑watching tour and a taxi to Colombo. My phone broke while I was there and they were incredibly helpful, letting me borrow theirs for a bit and telling me about local options to get it fixed or buy a new one.

Run by a small family who live at the back of the property, it’s clear they pour a lot of heart and soul into making this guesthouse as comfortable as possible for guests. The room I stayed in was pretty bare‑bones but I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Very good value. The room could benefit from a window, and there was no hot water or AC in my room, which wasn’t the greatest, but I still had a very comfortable stay.

Short walk to the beach, very friendly hosts, room with its own clean kitchen, bed with mosquito net, balcony. Breakfast, laundry service.
