The standard rooms are fine and the bathroom is spacious enough. The beds are good, but the main pillow feels too thin. Breakfast is decent, yet €18 per person is pricey. It’s handy that the reception offers luggage storage because check‑in starts at 15:00. The hotel sits opposite WildLands in Emmen, and you can brew coffee or tea in your room. We were unclear that parking is separate; the lift from the parking garage, which is municipal, is not part of the hotel and you need a ticket when you enter. The extra costs for breakfast and parking made the room rate feel high. The air‑conditioning was too cold and we didn’t know how to adjust it. The room itself is a typical hotel room but feels bland with little colour.

Very nice hotel. As usual in the Netherlands, you have to buy toothpaste from a machine or even a small drink.

The location, ample parking facilities, and many convenient shops and restaurants nearby are great. The extensive breakfast buffet was also good. Nothing else; I couldn’t get the charging station to work, but that might be my fault since I used an InCharge charging card.
