The hotel’s location is good for anyone spending a night in Claremorris, the staff were friendly—especially the breakfast manager—and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water; the room was basic but had a large smart TV. However, the hotel feels dated, the hallways smell a bit damp, the beds were fine but the pillows thin, and the room faced a busy pub, making it very loud at night.

The breakfast was okay, and the location was good, with a clean bathroom. However, there were too many stairs, the carpet in the room was torn, very worn, and not clean. The water pressure at the sink was too high, spraying all over the bathroom floor. The hotel needs upgrades in many areas, and the bed was saggy and needs replacement.
