I was thrilled to find the hotel right on the beach, with a lovely lady feeding me and a beautiful area just a walk away from town, full of places to eat and drink on the shore. The swimming spots were just around the corner, but the ceiling fan in the room made it a bit warm at night, though that’s to be expected in hot Sri Lanka.

The accommodation sits front of the sea, on the first line of the beach, and the family running it is super friendly—totally a 10. The humidity, however, is a result of the climate.

The owner was extremely dedicated and took care of everything. We even caught our own fish, which she prepared specially for us. Between meals she provided refreshments, and our laundry was done wonderfully. The room was large, clean, and we really liked it. The location is grand, directly on the beach. We would definitely return anytime and highly recommend it!

The room was in the family house. The family was very welcoming and available, making you feel at home. It’s just across from the beach and close to the town center—a small haven of peace. I recommend it 100%.

The place is nicely positioned on the beach and not far from the bus station. Some rooms offer a nice ocean view and are spacious. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The host is very kind and an excellent cook; we truly enjoyed the Sri Lankan dinner with fresh fish. The beach in front of the accommodation is beautiful with fishing boats but isn’t suitable for swimming—there are swimming areas and other beaches nearby. Our private room and bed were not clean, and without AC the room was unbearably hot and humid. The surrounding area was very dirty, and the mix of heat, fish, and trash made it very smelly.
