The hotel is located in the middle of the Smokey Mountains, but when we stayed it was rainy and misty with no mountain view. It’s an old property, so don’t expect a modern furnished room; for a single night it’s fine, and the hotel should mainly rely on its location.

Choice of food offerings, exceptional views, spa, friendly staff and guests, delicious food, onsite shopping, comfortable rooms—everything was great.

All the food was wonderful! Absolutely loved the community feel, the square dancing which I never thought we would do, and the shops; we loved meeting other couples our age and casually visiting for coffee. I can’t think of a thing! Obviously the cost prevents us from going as often as we would, but it’s worth the rate, so I wouldn’t ask for it to be lowered.
