I was disappointed that the place promised a bar but it never opened, and overall it didn't meet expectations.

The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of general stores and cafés, which is convenient. However, when I arrived, the room lacked basic supplies like soap and water, and only had two towels. The curtain rod was broken and the curtains hung crookedly. After setting down my luggage, I noticed ants crawling around the room, and they even made it onto the bed at night. When I reported this, the staff claimed they were unaware and promised a cleaning, but it didn't help because the infestation persisted. Other guests kept loud music late into the night and left the common area filthy, with soiled utensils and drink glasses, likely contributing to the ant problem and overall lack of cleanliness. On one occasion, power and water were out for over two hours, which made things difficult. The cutlery and kettle in the shared kitchen were also poorly maintained.

The hosts are welcoming, the hostel offers all typical amenities, and the staff are helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist.
