Grandvrio used to be a star of Garapan’s grand hotel row, but it no longer shines; low occupancy has cut hours for most restaurants, lounges, and even the pool, some now closed. The building is nice and could return to form, though the decor feels a touch dated yet well kept.

Checking in at 3 AM was smooth, but the food was terrible.

The staff were friendly, the facilities clean, pools right in front of the private beach, and the location is great for HIMAWARI supermarket. We really wish the marine/water activity desk would reopen; it’s currently marked temporary closed, forcing us to book activities through an external agency, which is inconvenient.

The location is good, the staff kind, and the ocean view is lovely. The facilities are old, but that wasn’t a major issue.
