It was a perfect escape in the middle of nowhere! I loved the outdoor kitchen; it was a fantastic place to relax! A few extras would have helped—there were no pots or pans and only one tea towel. The coffee machine is lovely, but there were no pods or sugar.

It was very private and quiet, yet easy to reach shops, restaurants, and pubs. The property features a hot tub, sauna, BBQ, and a very cozy cabin. Everything was clean and well equipped. The water pressure could be weak at times, and there was no pot to boil or cook.

The spot was gorgeous, and the wood‑fired sauna and hot tub were amazing. The host was super friendly and helpful, and everything was spotless and neat. The location felt very secluded, giving you everything you need for a getaway. I’ll definitely return.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Acorn Hideaway, a truly special and relaxing escape. The wood‑fired hot tub and sauna were incredible, especially under the big oak, and the pizza oven was a real highlight—we made delicious pizzas that tasted amazing. Everything was beautifully crafted and thoughtfully arranged. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it for a perfect getaway. The only downside is that there’s only a pizza oven or a BBQ outside (or a microwave in the shepherd’s hut), so you have to plan your meals carefully—like bacon sandwiches in the morning would have required a fire, which we didn’t have time for.
