Chesa Stuva Colani

The blend of tradition and modern comfort was impressive, the bathroom was beautiful, the welcome was warm and the staff were available. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It was quiet. The only drawback was the noisy door opening from the magnetic card system.

“Séjour paisible et fabuleux aux Grisons.”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with high‑quality ingredients. The building opposite was under renovation.

“Wunderbar cosy und unkompliziert freundlich.”

The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide selection and a very nice atmosphere; our kids and grandchildren could join easily even though they were staying in a nearby holiday apartment. I was surprised that hardly anyone on the staff understood Swiss German, yet the employees were still friendly and straightforward.

The rooms were very beautiful, built with wood, and the bathroom was large and lovely; breakfast was excellent and there was a large hotel parking lot.

“Solide, aber zu teuer für das, was man bekommt.”

The place was tidy, well‑kept and the wood and scent gave it a special feel, and the bathroom was excellent. Compared with other 4‑star hotels the pillows and mattresses left something to be desired, the breakfast was low‑end for a 4‑star property, the staff only spoke Italian even though we’re from Switzerland, the internet was very unsatisfactory and the minibar offered just two bottles of water; these are high‑level gripes, but having stayed in many hotels we think we can judge them accurately.
