The hotel is next to a pub for meals and a good café is within walking distance, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. When it rained, the car park outside our room flooded; after leaving the pub we stepped straight into a huge puddle that soaked our shoes because there wasn’t enough lighting to see it, so the car park drainage really needs improvement.

The room was fantastic, especially for a family, with beds, a lounge/pull‑out sofa, a dining table and chairs, a large TV, cupboards, and a lovely shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The only downside was that bugs could easily slip in under the door, and my daughter woke up with a cockroach in her bed.

We had a very comfortable stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Augusta Westside. The room was clean and well maintained, and the property offered excellent value for money. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always willing to help. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Port Augusta
