The place is magical, with a sparkling clean, friendly room and bathroom. Entry is a simple keypad at the door, opening from a tiny courtyard at the street’s end—no one to wait for, just go in and out whenever you wish. The view is stunning, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful everywhere in Stifoné. Sorgente Della Morica is a 5‑minute walk from the hotel. I couldn't resist the scenery—beauty everywhere! We spent a peaceful three nights at La Vecchia Scuola. Giuseppe was kind and helpful; when we made a small request, he replied immediately and fulfilled it. No complaints, and we’d happily stay even two weeks. The downside: arriving by train and walking from the station to everything meant meal arrangements required some logistics. Stifoné lacks a small grocery shop, or at least a breakfast‑coffee shop. All the options available in summer were closed in September.

An incredibly charming stay, and the location was perfect for visiting Sorgente Della Morica.

The spot is unbeatable—just a short walk from the spring, the apartment was tastefully renovated with furnishings that blend modernity and classic charm. The beautiful fireplace sets a fantastic mood, and everything from the kitchen to the textiles and appliances is both stunning and functional. Even from the outside you feel elegance, and stepping inside feels like entering the magical world of Narnia. We’d gladly stay longer. Highly recommended—thanks to the owners for this opportunity. We only stayed one night at La Vecchia Scuola and loved it. The furniture is very nice and the place is spotless. Guiseppe was great to communicate with and gave us solid restaurant suggestions. The bed is comfortable but not huge.
