This hotel and restaurant, though a bit out of the way, is well served by buses, which let us stay quiet, away from the city bustle, and enjoy a great dinner at the end of the day. The welcome was warm, the rooms spacious, and the beds comfortable. The shower lacked pressure and there were no towel hooks in the bathroom.

Breakfast and dinner were very good. The staff, especially Claudia, and the owner were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 25‑minute bus ride from Lucerne’s centre, but the ride is pleasant and the bus stop is a short walk away. The surroundings are a mix of rural and residential, with a tennis club across the street. Nothing else.

I met a very friendly staff at the hotel, and the rooms were clean and spacious for a place like Lucerne. I liked everything about the property.
