“Wüstenerlebnis”
A huge tent with its own bathroom and toilet felt very spacious. The restaurant was lovely and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Dinner was very hearty and truly delicious. Next time we’d rather go to the tents by camel instead of driving ourselves. Our suspicion that dozens of camels in the desert were traveling with tourists and showed noticeable wear was confirmed; it seems some people make a living from camel riding, but the animals don’t look very healthy.
A super organized trip to Erg Chebbi with the guys from Camel House. After meeting at Hassilabied just before Merzouga, we were taken to the camels for a ride into the sand dunes and later rode back to the camp. The camp looked as good as the photos and was very comfortable. Dinner was tasty, breakfast was abundant, and everyone at the camp was very nice! Tanmirt!
The tour was a great experience, with two breaks that let us wander through the dunes. The camel guide took many fantastic photos and videos of us. The staff were very attentive, especially the evening presentation and the provisioning.
