We adored this campsite and felt sad to leave; the vibe is so calm and peaceful, kids played freely and explored, making it a hidden gem. The only downside was that I only stayed for two nights.

The facilities were very clean, every shower had warm water, the site was relaxed, and everything was well labeled, giving us everything we needed as a base to explore Cornwall. One night a heavy rainstorm caused the tent to leak, which is unavoidable when camping, and the wood chips around the tent kept drifting in, though they did provide a softer floor.

The place is friendly and cozy, the bar is great, the pizza is excellent, the setting is beautiful, and there’s live music on Saturday—nothing to add.
