The only thing that mattered was the location. The first room was full of trash; they moved us to another room, but the sheets were dirty and someone had slept there, and they never changed them. We had free breakfast, yet they tried to charge $5 per person, and only those who spoke Spanish were told about it—nothing was said in English about paying only in Spanish. The facilities smelled awful, the room coffee maker didn’t work, and they never offered a replacement. Service was terrible.

The view was nice, but you have to pay extra for it. Turning on the shower was almost impossible; when I called, the staff told me to pull harder on the handle. Eventually someone came to fix it. At check‑in they handed me someone else’s room, which was embarrassing when I tried to open the door. The occupants were about to move because the TV wasn’t working. When the staff came to sort out the rooms, they asked if I wanted the room that someone else was already in. I said “no, I’d like a clean room with a working TV.” They moved me to a clean room but were unsure if someone was inside, so they knocked to be sure. Luckily nobody came after I was in.

Comfy beds, fairly quiet, good breakfast. It would have been good to have a TV guide and how to operate it
