We expected a quiet spot, and the owners mentioned the isolation in their emails. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. Before arriving, we managed to have dinner at a nearby pizzeria – the pizza was fantastic.

Everything was wonderful. The room’s interior matched the hotel’s name, and the bathrooms were especially hygienic—so clean I’d even want to live there. The baths were a highlight: there’s a small bath and a rock bath, both available for private use until 8 am if they’re free, and the décor and amenities were amazing, so I lost my plans to visit other hot springs the next day. The water server offered both water and hot water, the room had an extravagant tea selection, a paid fridge with alcohol, and the heating was so warm you’d think it wasn’t mid‑winter… I could keep listing the positives forever. The owner was also very friendly. I’ll definitely come back. Nothing was wrong; it’s the best place I’ve stayed in the past few years.
