The location and breakfast at the nearby Italian café gave a strong Italian vibe, which was a big plus☺, but unfortunately the room was heavily moldy right next to the bed, making me worry about my health while sleeping there. Clearly the place needs to be fumigated for the safety and comfort of future guests. Towels were under‑dosed and there was dirt near the fridge. It looks like the room was beautifully renovated in 2022, yet it requires a refresh to return to the “Excellent” rating.

The hotel is conveniently located on Metro Line A, making downtown very comfortable to reach, but we were not satisfied with the neighborhood and the fact that the accommodation sits in the basement of a multi‑family building. The area feels dirty and unsafe in the lower part of Rome, and the basement setting is quite noticeable.

The location is ideal for easy movement because the metro station is just a few steps away, and breakfast is included at a pastry shop that makes wonderful croissants. However, the towel change after five days always using the same ones isn’t ideal, the pillows are too low, and the air conditioning is practically nonexistent.

The location is great, close to the metro, and breakfast is a mile away at a café. The mold in the shower area and the garbage smell are unpleasant, and some might be surprised to learn it’s a basement space.
