The location is great. The traffic outside is noisy.
“Nice clean interesting/historic place to stay in Altea”
The location, character, and cleanliness are solid. There is a bit of road noise.
“Sorry but I would not stay there again as a single person.”
The place is well‑located and the bed was comfortable. It didn’t feel like good value for money; it seemed more like a block of rooms than a proper hotel. Nobody was available to answer questions, except for a friendly cleaner who didn’t speak English. As a solo traveler, I didn’t really enjoy the stay.

The room is small but functional; you don’t need extra space to sleep. The building has a lot of charm. The common area is pleasant, and the free cookies, pastries, coffee, and tea are a lovely touch—something I’ve never seen before in a place. It’s close to bus and tram stops, so you reach Altea’s center quickly, and you’re just a second line from the sea. I couldn’t find the Wi‑Fi password anywhere, not at reception and not in the room.
