“Not as advertised”

For the budget price, the room was sparse but satisfactory and the aircon worked well. However, I did not end up staying at this hotel, see below. I was set to have a no nonsense no frills stay here until I tried to connect to the wifi. It didn't connect, although the wifi rated 9.5 . Apparently, it was broken. The caretaker called the owner who called the telecommunications company. They said someone would come out to fix the issue. Yeah, sure. A government agency coming immediately on a Sunday to fix a connection problem? Not a chance. So I cancelled the stay and moved to another cheap place down the road that actually had a wifi connection

“Great stay”

Both women in this guest house were very friendly and helpful. Around 15 mins walk to the beach. Room nice and spacious. There is also a sitting area outside the rooms and a kitchen that can be used to cook, plus a fridge

The place is EXCELLENT: it sits in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the beach. The facilities are spotless, the kitchen is well equipped and has seating areas for meals. The room is spacious and even had a fridge inside, which was very convenient! All staff were very sweet to us. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but felt so comfortable that we extended by 2 more nights. The wifi worked great. I fully recommend this place! Everything I liked!
