“~22 m2, nie 50 m2!!! Kłamstwo co do metrażu”
Very comfortable bed <3 The photos match reality. The location is nice: in a quiet side street where little happens… a few minutes from the Welbee's supermarket, and a few more minutes to the bus stop, which is well connected to the whole island. Just keep in mind that around noon the buses run dramatically :P But traveling with a weekly ticket is a great deal. I highly recommend this place. The equipment matches the description: there is a hair dryer, a small fridge, a big shower… and at our request, after a few days we received new towels (but only new ones for the shower. No other new ones, along with the repeatedly used kitchen rag we washed many dishes with – we didn’t get anything for an entire week). Overall nice that there is a balcony. Not big, no meaningful views… but it is definitely a plus. It’s also good that there’s a mirror in both the bathroom and the main room. When we arrived, we were very disappointed with the size – we chose the place specifically because it was advertised as 50 m². When we got there, we estimated about 22 m² and 5 m² of balcony… We reported this to Booking. We received no compensation, no apology from the property, nothing… The only thing is that a week after the stay I still see the size as not 50 m² but 20 m². If it had been that size when we were looking for an apartment, we definitely would not have chosen it because of our plans, among others, to go to the gym during the stay and to cook meals. There were some things that could have been done with the fridge, kettle, two plates… but without a stove, bowls or pot, the possibilities were limited. Even washing dishes in the bathroom sink and all the chores would have been a lot more pleasant if we had the advertised 50 m². The owner – knowingly or not – misled us and seriously ruined our comfort at that time :// Big minus for cleaning: after 3–4 days we asked for the room to be cleaned, we even told them the night before that we would be away the next day. The answer? They clean only after 3 weeks xddd If someone stays longer. Seriously? What a macabre standard! It wasn’t easy to get in: the address from the PDF led to the middle of the highway. For future guests: just type “The Valley Room 8 condo with parking on premises” in Google Maps. On the day of our stay, when we supposedly had check‑in from 15:00, we couldn’t reach or contact the property between 10:00 and 15:00. Because of that we didn’t use the early check‑in that is possible, as the PDF messages with all the information made us think we would only get it after the deposit. Also: the deposit is a minus. No Smart TV / Netflix!!!
“Adequate but only really suitable if you need a night or two.”
The location was good, but the place didn't offer the facilities it advertised, which was misleading; I wouldn't have booked if I knew. They didn't supply many basics like toilet paper, and we had to beg to get our deposit back even though we left the room spotless.
“Prime location, comfy room with amenities, communication with management exceptional.”
We were a couple and loved the modern room. It was less than 400 m from Spinola Bay, the most interesting, active, and charming area for lodging, so we’d definitely return and recommend it. The room had most amenities we’d need, but no kitchenette or cooking options. William and the managers were exceptional before and during our stay, giving us access codes and daily check‑ins without being intrusive. The location was superb: a major Welbee’s supermarket sat at the end of the driveway and across the street, with a self‑service laundromat just down the road. We avoided the laundromat because its app had many bad reviews. Spinola Bay felt better than Sliema, offering a nice promenade, cafes, bars, restaurants, nightlife, a walkable scenic area, and a short walk to the red‑light district if that’s your thing, plus several nearby beaches. The Wi‑Fi, A/C, heat, private bathroom, toiletries, towels (replaced after five days), desk, table, chair, plates, utensils, mini‑fridge, wine opener, scissors, dish towel, flat‑screen TV, iron, ironing board, hot water cooker, tea & coffee packets, wine glasses, drinking glasses, mugs, hair dryer, wardrobe, hangers, clothes rack, drying rack, security peephole, double latch lock, door prop, mini‑safe, and UK‑style converters in most outlets made the bed comfortable with two pillow sets. The only downsides were that we couldn’t cook in the room, the balcony had a high cement wall blocking the view from the table (other units had rails and views), the deposit wasn’t returned within the 7‑day contract period—after we supplied proof and many details it took about five more days to get refunded—and there was no parking, though we’re not sure if that was a unit issue or all spaces were taken.
Pleasant comfortable stay. Getting the room serviced or getting clean towels took a bit so make sure to ask beforehand
“Beautiful small aparment in St Julian’s”
The apartment in St. Julian’s was beautiful and cozy, perfect for a week. The balcony gave a lovely view, and the spot was great, with everything nearby. We got great value and really enjoyed our stay.
