“Un rêve devenu réalité”
The staff were very kind, very helpful and accommodating. A couple with a disabled person. The room was simple but very good. The location is magical.

The building feels a bit old, but the staff, atmosphere, location and restaurant make up for it and more. It sits right at the Cable Car entrance, so many excursions are nearby, and the team genuinely turned our short stay into a memorable one. I’ll definitely return. The rooms, however, look a bit aged.

The location is good, right next to the cable car to Etna. The room had a weird smell; we opened all the windows as soon as we unpacked. We only ate and drank in the Rifugio. A quarter of an hour after getting into bed, both of us fainted and had to vomit multiple times, and the dog vomited too. Around 2:30 am my wife could move again and tried to get help. The Italian emergency number didn’t understand English or German. No one in the Rifugio answered the calls for help. Only when she left the Rifugio and rang the bell did someone come. I didn’t get to the hospital (1 hour away) until about 6:30 am. I think we’re lucky to still be alive.
