The motel, though a little dated, was nonetheless extremely comfortable and well equipped, and we had a wonderful night's stay. We also enjoyed a glorious walk alongside the Tongariro River, which is a very short walk from the motel. Nothing could have been better!

Very interesting, friendly & helpful hosts. A bit dated but great facilities for river and lake fishers

It was a beautiful little cottage that I really liked; it was comfortable and very homely, and I didn't find anything I didn't like, so I was happy with it.

The place was exceptionally clean and tidy, covered parking was great, yet the room I stayed in was on the main road side of the property, and there was a lot of noise from trucks going past.
