We’ve been returning to Riviera for years and always find everything wonderful—the building, the cleanliness, the service (even for our dog). The only drawback is the neglect of certain areas in the suites/villas: over time we’ve seen a broken shower head, a half‑working toilet flush, burnt‑out bulbs, and this year the garden around the suites overrun with wild brambles and weeds (by the way, the “tree” that had grown between the pool tiles finally got pulled out). Overall it feels like home, even better; housekeeping is flawless, the staff are very friendly, and breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The only thing that annoyed us was being told at the pool that most loungers were reserved for day‑pass guests, leaving us room guests with fewer spots, though the legendary lifeguard eventually sorted it out with common sense and kindness. “Non all’altezza delle aspettative”

The staff were friendly and competent, but the rooms looked very worn, toiletries like body lotion, shampoo and shower gel were in short supply, the air‑conditioning couldn’t be adjusted, and the cleaning was superficial—overall far below what we expected.

“La piscine est magnifique pour ceux qui aiment se baigner.”

The restaurant and breakfast were excellent, with very pleasant staff, set in a beautiful poolside setting; however, our room could use a working TV, better Wi‑Fi, a kettle, a box of Kleenex, real glassware instead of plastic, and fewer ants.

I had a wonderful stay, especially thanks to the superb breakfast prepared by Tatjana; her warm, attentive and personal service made the visit truly special—many thanks, Tatjana, for your kindness and great care, and I’ll gladly return. The only disappointment was being placed in a bungalow; I prefer a room in the main building, which would have been a more comfortable option for me.
