The spot is super close to the beach and restaurants, yet tucked away on a quiet side street, and the owners are lovely people who make you feel right at home. The only downside is that the bathroom could let insects in because there are no mosquito nets.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helping us with everything and responding to all our requests, and the location is great—just a five‑minute walk to the beach and good cafés. There’s a cozy terrace on the roof where you can work or unwind in the evenings.

The place is spacious and sits right in the heart of Hikkaduwa with everything just outside, and the owners made us feel very welcome.

Our room was beautiful, airy, clean and roomy, featuring a large bathroom, and you could access a rooftop with a nice kitchen. The best part of this stay was the owners, who were kind, always ready for a chat, and incredibly helpful. The husband took us on a lovely trip to some interesting spots near Hikkaduwa and even drove us to our next stop, Weligama. If we ever return to Sri Lanka, this hotel will be our first stop.
